CAT (Common Admission Test) is one such exam which is held every year for the students who are seeking to enter into the prestigious IIM’s and top class B-schools. CAT 2015 is also held on the date of November 29,2015. The CAT 2015 exam likewise as one of the exam similar to that of is prvious exam patterns lays emphasis on the basic knowledge of the students. This includes the criteria of selecting the candidates on the basis of their problem solving techniques and the realistsic approach of them towards the problem faced by them.

The exam includes four main sections Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The exam consists of two sessions of 100 questions on all these sections. Each question carries 3 marks for a positive response and -1 for a wrong answer.

The Board selects the candidates on the basis of the percentile obtained by the students in the CAT 2015.  Last year in November, the number of candidates who turned up for CAT exam are 1,67,834 out of 1,96,000 registrations. A total number of 16 candidates secured 100 percentile. Among the 16 toppers, 1 was a female candidate, Neha Manglik who happened to be the only girl to secure 100 percentile since 2009 in the history of CAT exam.

How to Check CAT Results 2015?

The process to check the CAT Result 2015 is mentioned below:

• Login to your account in the CAT 2015 website as in with the credentials of your own.
• Select  on the CAT 2015 Results at iimcat.ac.in
• Download the score card and take a print out of the marks list on iimcat.ac.in

Since no hard copy of the score card will be sent, you have to take the print out of your CAT2015 Result and preserve it till your admission process is complete.

On the basis of the CAT 2015 Result, the 19 IIMs will announce the shortlisted candidates based on their score in the CAT 2015 and the admission criteria. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds to make your dream come true and to enter your favourite IIM or top B-school.
